1. Understand: In starting to work with a smaller project, I spend a few hours with the customer in order to become familiar with the current business processes that are in place, as well as future business processes and needs that computer software may facilitate.
2. Study: I take the time to understand the current software code and database systems that are in place.  Upon completion, I will provide a non-binding "ball park" estimate of time/costs.  This estimate may be refined as business requirements are modified or discovered.  Billing is based on time plus materials.
3. Construct: I strive for simple, cost-effective solutions.  I believe in being customer centric, "satisfying the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software."  The customer will be able to see incremental progress in the form of working software as the software evolves.
4. Deliver: I am not happy until you are happy.  Due to the incremental nature of the Agile development process I use, I will continue to improve the software until your needs are met.
